Tell Stories…

Stories resonate with people. People remember stories. In your marketing and business development efforts – tell great stories. Share information about your experience, skills, and capabilities by developing and sharing vivid stories. Don’t be long-winded; simply share enough details so that people remember. If you are an architect, tell the story about how you helped the client – don’t just show the end professional photograph. If you are a CPA, share an example of working with a client who had the same challenge that your prospective client has. Talk about these people and their problems and how you worked along-side them to help them solve their biggest challenges. You will get your point across more clearly, you will be remembered, you will be understood.
